CRIME IN THE COURT 2011

Goldsboro Books hosted the first Crime in the Court evening on the 21st June 2011 to coincide with Independent Booksellers Week. This is to become an annual event that will be an informal gathering for crime fans to meet the best crime writers published today.

Authors who were in attendance included: S J Bolton, Ann Cleeves, Rory Clements, Julia Crouch, Patrick Easter, Gordon Ferris, Elena Forbes, Elly Griffith, M R Hall, David Hewson, Matt Hilton, Chris Morgan Jones, Erin Kelly, John Lawton, Adrian Magson, Colin Murray, S J Parris, William Ryan, Michael Ridpath, Simon Toyne & Laura Wilson.

It was a terrific evening with lots of fans and writers, and most importantly, the weather held and we were able to stay in the court. I’ll certainly be going next year, that’s a fact.

You can see more photographs of the event on the Goldsboro Books Facebook page. It can be officially announced that History in the Court will take place on the 29th September at Goldsboro Books. History in the Court will be the same format as Crime in the Court but will feature writers of historical fiction and non-fiction. More details will be announced later.
