Heller is just the right mix of bullet dodging bravado and intelligence to allow Finder to make him equally convincing when dealing with gun toting thugs or the raw emotions of the girl’s family. This is a thriller of above average quality that keeps its readers on the edge of their seats to the very end, if it matches the standard set by Buried Secrets the next Nick Heller novel will be well worth waiting for.
