NO ONE LEFT TO TELL

No One Left To Tell is the latest novel by thriller writer Karen Rose, offering romance within the crime genre, to give a thriller full of suspense with both elements woven tightly together to pull you through a plot full of excellent characterisation. 

This novel is based around trainee Private Investigator, Paige Holden, a victim of violence in her past, who has finally begun to heal and move forwards, when she takes the case of proving the innocence of a man sentenced to life imprisonment for murder. After the client is killed in front of her, Paige finds the State Attorney Grayson Smith for help and together the two find themselves drawn into a string of mysterious deaths, people trying to kill them and a limited number of people left they can trust. 

Whilst No One Left To Tell is fast paced, it still manages to tell a story without you feeling anything has been missed and keeping you rapidly turning the pages. All threads are tied at the conclusion -  although it did leave me feeling that I did not want it to end because I was enjoying it so much. 

I will admit to being a fan of ‘romance’ in novels, as long as there is a definite storyline, and Karen Rose delivers on both parts by providing a strong action packed plot with the added extra of Paige and Grayson’s feeling for each other giving an extra twist. 

This book is definitely worth a read for any crime fiction fans, even those who may be put off by the romance element, because the complex plot full of suspense giving an excellent thriller that I would recommend.
