Lovers of Agatha Christie will be delighted with this illustrated alphabet book which parodies some of Agatha Christies most famous victims and the various ways in which they meet their deaths.
This book’s length may only be 96 pages, but it is a wonderful celebration of the first publication, and centenary of Agatha Christie remaining in print at Harper Collins. Not only has this book been brilliantly illustrated by Tom Racine, but he has written some of the wittiest quips to go with each illustration. Additionally, Racine has included brief explanations to each chosen character. A great idea.
This is a book that all fans of Agatha Christie should read no matter of age and I am certain that the Queen of Crime would appreciate the way in which she is being celebrated and remembered.
This quirky and darkly humorous book certainly makes death curiously amusing.
