A good title. I couldn’t foresee the startling climax in this fifth thriller by bestselling Canadian author Shari Lapena - as each prediction turned out to be wrong.

Lapena’s writing is all the more powerful considering that she works with a small canvas of characters who are entwined in a labyrinth that has so many twists and turns - that the suspense never stops.

Stephanie has new-born twin daughters and is struggling to cope with them despite her happy marriage to Patrick. Patrick has been married before but his first wife died in an accident. But was it an accident? When a woman from his past crosses his path again, she produces a different story.  And with that the tortuous path to the truth begins.

‘The tension is high,’ The Times wrote of one of the author’s earlier novels and how true that is of The End of Her too. So, hold on tight; those twists and turns are going to make it a thrilling ride. Don’t miss it!
