Though I hadn't read Aga Lesiewicz's first novel, Rebound I was aware that it had received good reviews; so I went into her second novel with high expectations and was duly rewarded with a really good psychological thriller.

Photographer Kristin lives in a smart and trendy loft apartment in London, with her street artist boyfriend Anton. Life's going well, meandering gently along with much to look forward to. However, as I'm sure we all know, life sometimes has a way of taking one's contentment and gleefully putting it through the shredder.

Kristin starts receiving anonymous emails, together with attachments, that imply that the sender has intimate knowledge of all aspects of her life - both past and present. Her world is about to somersault in a most spectacular way, and she won't know where to turn or who to trust, as events become ever more sinister.

As chill factor goes, Exposure definitely has it in spades. It was completely gripping, witnessing Kristin's life spiraling out of control, as we [together with Kristin] gather the facts in order to make some sense of why this is happening to her. The character portrayal was good, and the plot was without doubt compelling, forcing me to read ever faster, desperate to seek an answer to these earth shattering events.

So, I've discovered yet another author in the psychological thriller genre, who deserves recognition for what is a highly entertaining and compelling novel.
