Being familiar with and loving Graham’s non-fiction work, I jumped at the opportunity to read and review his debut novel. Let me tell you, I was not disappointed.

I have read hundreds of police procedurals over the years, so I crossed my fingers and prayed to someone this book would bring something new to the genre. And bring something new it did. I whizzed through this book at a rate of knots. While my friends were watching the Jubilee concert, I was ignoring them and flicking over pages desperate to know what happened next.

Graham has managed to weave several gripping storylines without missing a beat. It could so easily have gone wrong, but they intertwined seamlessly and did not let the reader rest for even a moment.

This was a fantastic debut and I sincerely hope there is a Book 2 in the series soon.

As a final word… did you see that cover!
