Gordon Simpson
Gordon Simpson was born and raised in Aberdeenshire, starting a long and varied career in sports journalism with the Press & Journal daily newspaper, continuing with the Press Association, Daily Record and Daily Mail. Moving to Wentworth in Surrey, Simpson became Director of Communications at the PGA European Tour (now DP World Tour) and Media Centre Manager for the Ryder Cup. He is the author of Golfing Greats (Sportsprint, John Donald), an anthology of famous British golfers. Four Deadly Swings is his debut novel.
