Christobel Kent
Christobel Kent was born in London in 1962 and grew up in London and Essex, including a stint on the Essex coast on a Thames barge with three siblings and four step-siblings, before reading English at Cambridge. She has worked in publishing and TEFL teaching, and has lived in Modena, in northern Italy and in Florence. She has written nine novels – with five so far in the Sandro Cellini series, and her most recent book, The Crooked House, a standalone thriller, published in 2015 by Little, Brown. Her next novel, The Loving Husband will be published in 2016. She lives in Cambridge with her husband and five children.
